Powerteam Wins Gold Medal RoSPA Award

RoSPA AwardPowerteam has won a Gold Medal award in the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2011, for the second consecutive year.

The Belfast based company designs, constructs and project manages electrical infrastructure projects for companies in England, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.

According to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), Powerteam has demonstrated excellence in their ongoing commitment to preventing accidents and ensuring robust occupational health and safety management systems. The company was presented with the RoSPA Gold Award at a recent ceremony in Glasgow.

Powerteam undertakes the construction and refurbishment of electricity substations and overhead lines for Distribution Network Operators such as Scottish and Southern Energy, ESB Networks and Western Power Distribution and for various wind farm developers.
