132kV 4-year framework agreement (Scotland)
4-year framework agreement for the refurbishment of existing and construction of new 132kV substations. Work includes electrical & civil design, equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, plus all works associated with the construction of the new switchroom. Powerteam are CDM Principal Contractor.
Projects completed to date:
- Millennium – Construction of new 132kV substation (2008)
- Lunanhead – Removal of existing plant and equipment and replaced with 2 new 132/33kV 90MVA transformers and associated switchgear. Responsible for civil work including construction of building to contain 33kV switchgear (2008)
- Edenbaine – Construction of new 132kV substation (2009)
- Orrin Windfarm – Construction of new 132kV substation (2009)
Projects on-going:
- Keith – Installation of Tx’s and switchgear (2011)
- Mossford – Replace 132kV Transformers & protection modifications (2010/11)
- Luichart – Replace 132kV Transformers & protection modifications (2011)
- Aultbae – 33kV Substation (2010)
- Shin – 132kV Substation – design ongoing (2011)
