Rathcahill 12.5MW -38/20kV substation (ROI)

Scope of works includes:

  • Project management, electrical design and system studies.
  • Substation civil & building works
  • Supply and installation of:
    • 38kV AIS switchyard and equipment for ‘tail fed’ connection
    • 15MVA grid interface transformer (free issue), neutral earthing resistor, auxiliary ‘house’ transformer and emergency diesel generator
    • 20kV switchboard; protection, control, indication & telecommunications panels; LV a.c. and d.c. auxiliary systems.
    • 20kV power cables, fibre optic cables and copper earth conductor.
    • LV power and control cables
    • Substation earthing grid.
    • Substation building services.
  • Testing & Commissioning.
